(Mostly Pictures) Peru and Bolivia

A few days ago, we flew over the mysterious Nazca Lines etched into the desert floor hundreds of years ago. Now, Jamie and I are at our final destination before heading home. We find ourselves staying our final few nights in a tiny town built literally on a lagoon oasis in the desert called Huacachina. We hiked up sand dunes yesterday and walked the thin ridge high above the tiny town, with steep drop offs to each side. Last night was a futile hunt for any location playing the NBA Finals, as Jamie´s beloved Cavs were playing...and while there were a few watering holes willing to change the TV channel to sports stations, they were all predictably showing soccer. So it goes. Turns out they lost anyway...so he didn´t miss much! Better luck next time. We´re planning to go out on some dune buggies later today and tomorrow we´re off to the Islas Ballestas, also known as the ¨poor man´s Galapagos.¨ From there, to Lima and the airport.
